Today Carol and I got a wonderful box of delicious delicacies from Mudcatters---mostly from Albuquerquie---to celebrate our forty-seventh anniversary. All of you involved in this, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Love to you all.

Might be a CD from one of our Albuquerque singer-songwriters in there, too.

Well Rapparee, Susan and I don't really like the hot humid Northern Illinois climate all that much. We can afford to live in the UP on retirement income and play more music. It's not as snowy and cold as it used to be. In fact Chicago area winters were no picnic either. Property taxes are a quarter of what we were paying in Illinois. We have loved going on trips for a quarter century and just decided we wanted to live here.

Louie Roy, we are in Trout Lake, not far from St. Ignace or Sault Ste. Marie.

Heck, I get all that in Pocatello and mountains as well. I agree about the Northern Illinois climate -- I spent two semesters at NIU and then moved to NE Ohio. Something about frying pans and fires in that.

The summers are not quite so hot up here. The winters are a lot less severe than even a few decades ago.

I hope to see you around more in the next year Art as you are missed by many. I have learned so much from you and had a fine time joking with you.....I miss that.........

BTW.......I used to spend a good amount of time in Crystal Lake when I worked for Sun Electric which was based there back then.
