Happy New Year! from the frozen bog country of Kent County, nb.ca.

Thank goodness the skeeters and blackflies are covered with WAY TOO MUCH SNOW! Okay Old Man Winter... the flies are buried in snow. I am tired of you trying to bury me too. Knock that shit off or it's not gonna be a happy New Year at all.

Happy New Year from Kansas City, where it's not too cold, and the white clouds are beautiful streaks in a blue sky.

You have reminded me that I want to visit Iceland again, Skarpi, so thanks. It will be our third trip.

And a Happy New Year to Skarpi and family--and all in Iceland, from Seattle, in the great Pacific Northwest.

(If the United States were an envelope, Seattle would be where the return address goes).
