He played an instrumental on the fiddle (held as a mandolin and plucked rather than bowed) called 'Old Hag'. I think it would make a great mandolin tume. I bought the CD and in time could figure it out myself but thought I would ask here if anyone had tab for this tune? I thought a fiddle was tuned the same as a mandolin but on the CD Bill seems to be playing in A# which leads me to think he is tuned down a half step. |

On the Bothy Band's second album it is called "Old Hag You Have Killed Me." That's also the name of the album. I suppose this must be the same tune. There are programs available - Muse & Tabledit are two - that will import ABC and output mandolin tablature. |
