Can anyone provide information about the following album, and who issued it?

Date, when, where recorded
is it a 'bootleg' (i.e. unauthorised release)

Are there any other MDH releases?

Anyone recognise the address?

a reply on another list indicate Seeger lists this as unauthorised
and recorded at REED COLLEGE in 1950.

reviewing my post, I see I did NOT include the address of MDH as given on the box. address: 2112 S.E. 11th Ave. Portland 14, Oregon

Any older Portland folks recognise this address ????

MDH may be someone's initials, or an organization ????

The set is "limited edition" of 500 copies.
Does anyone have a copy ??? - mine is #275, and a copy auctioned a few years ago was #67
Is there a booklet ???

Thanks!
Best wishes, Thomas.

I've got one boxed away somewhere that I got from my parents who were Reed Collage students. They told me that this was recorded and made by the students themselves. I'm not sure if it was a bootleg, but I'll ask next time I see my parents. How much did #67 sell for out of curiosity? Thanks!

Yes, you can get the information about MDH from Michael Munk, as cited by that last GUEST who was involved in cutting the disk. Contact him at the above site. I have one of those Seeger boxes. Mike might differ, but my understanding was always that it is a sure-enough bootleg.
