09 Feb 14 - 08:00 AM (#3599724) Subject: looking for a Shenandoah Run song From: clueless don Yesterday my daughter and I attended the Folklore Society of Greater Washington Midwinter Festival. While we were in the "Cafetorium", a group was performing - I believe they were called "Shenandoah Run", and the program described their music as "Collegiate 60s folk". They performed a song that may have been about a mine disaster. My daughter remembers the following lines from the song: 'cause Ireland's got your back. Tell God and the Devil they can die but today's not gonna be the day we die. I don't guarantee that I have those lyrics 100% correct. Can anyone tell us what this song is? Don |

Guest is right that the song you heard was our version of the Solas song "Tell God and the Devil." Here is a video of us performing it a few weeks ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yQRHjovksA |
