I just saw a FB post from The Wailin' Jennys in which they are issuing an appeal to help rescue one of their favorite UK venues, The Ironworks in Oswestry. They say in the post that "The Ironworks in Oswestry is at risk of being shut down by the bank and has started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds. This is a wonderful venue staffed by some great people and the list of bands who have played here is long. We need to support our live music venues! Please give to this campaign if you can."
