24 Feb 14 - 06:22 AM (#3604323) Subject: Upton Session Friday 28th From: bubblyrat Venue ; The Wheelhouse , East Waterside ,Upton Upon Severn ( Upton Marina) Informal "come all ye" session , last Friday of every month . Usually a nice, appreciative ,audience comprising mainly of pub regulars with eclectic tastes. Loads of space , plenty of sockets for amplifiers ( I like to "plug in " at this venue !) , good food ,plenty of parking ; what's not to like ?? Melodeonistas particularly welcome especially if you can play Upton's theme tune ! |

Upton , despite holding a major folk-festival every year , seems to have a paucity of actual LOCAL performers ! Beats me, but if we folk from Winchcombe and Tewkesbury can do our bit to revive sessions in Upton, then try we will ! Don't forget ; Winchcombe Folk Club next Tuesday ! (1st Tues of every month ) . |
