From Peter's website:

Peter Mulvey is one of the foremost urban folkies on the scene. His literate, socially conscious lyrics combined with subtle and sultry right-on instrumental accompaniment has intrigued and impressed many. Peter is known not only for his solo work but for his collaborations with Kris Delmhorst and Jeffrey Foucault as part of the band, Redbird. Peter's shows never fail to entertain and educate.

Best known for his warmly wry songwriting and his intense percussive guitar style. over the past 20 years, Mulvey has pursued a restless, eclectic path as a writer and musician – immersing himself in Tin Pan Alley jazz, modern acoustic, poetry, narrative, and Americana stylings. Relentlessly touring as a headliner – his attitude is, "When you love what you do, you can work all the time." His latest CD, "Silver Ladder" will be released in April.

From Heather's website:

"I always said that if I didn't write songs, I'd be covered in tattoos, because every song I write is something I want to remember really badly," says Heather Maloney.
She has no ink so far. Instead, the Northampton, Mass., singer and songwriter is marking life lessons with music on her new self-titled album, penning tuneful reminders to herself about the little triumphs of love on "Flutter," the solace of redemption on "Turn Yourself Around" and her firm belief that nothing's colder than trying too hard to be cool, an idea that inspired "Fire for You."

There is more, but I know moderators don't like long block quotes, so you can continue reading here! http://heathermaloney.com/?page_id=59
