03 Mar 14 - 05:32 PM (#3606868) Subject: Northern weekend From: GUEST,Brother What a great weekend ,friday night at Saltburn Folk club to see Peter Bond ably supported by Storm Crow and Jack Atkinson,great night. Then to Bedale Saturday night for Reg Meuross who was in fine form and I hope to see him back in this area again soon.With wonderful support from a ukelele player ,who to my shame I am unable to name but was really good. Finally on Sunday to the re-emergence of Stokesley Folk Club in Gt Broughton.Lots of great singers and musicians on show.Well done to the organisers of all the events. All three venues had full attendances. |
