But this one turned out to be more of a problem than most. The bridge is, it seems, made of balsa wood. I got myself a class A lemon. I am not sure who made the el cheapo thing. But it really isn't tunable or playable. However the strings are all new. The hammerheads and felts are good. I am willing to take best offer plus shipping charges. However, you bought the thing because you wanted it and is would be nice if you could fix it easily. I will take the best offer. If the best offer is I'll pay for shipping, that's what I'll take. It is not an Oscar Schmidt. I don't think Oscar Schmidt would make something that cheap. The guy I had working on it couldn't fix the bridge. I am just trying to find it a home. |
