31 Mar 14 - 09:08 PM (#3614159) Subject: RE: Smallish festival - Eastern US From: ChanteyLass The New Bedford (Massachusetts) Folk Festival is July 5-6. The regular ticket prices have always been reasonable, but I haven't seen them posted yet--except for VIP weekend passes, which are not reasonable! A bonus this year is that Mystic Seaport's Charles W. Morgan, the last surviving wooden whaleship in the world which has just been extensively restored, should be docked in New Bedford, where it was originally built, that weekend. The docks are only a short walk from the festival stages. The website is here. http://www.newbedfordfolkfestival.com/ |
