I figured the folks on the RISKS Digest would be able to evaluate their claims, if anybody can.

They haven't mentioned it yet.

The Lavaboom site is a bit short of technical information.

Secure: what does that mean? All email services are secure according to their blurbs and until they get hacked or give the information away to NSA or the equivalent in the UK. Doesn't matter how much they encrypt a system, does anyone think the intelligence services would allow that to happen without first being able to read it regardless how it's encrypted?
