Tune Req: Anyone know this tune?

I've come across this tune in a couple of different places (one being a Harry Boardman song about pubs changing for the worse), but I'm sure it belongs to another, probably better-known, song. Any offers? It's my first attempt at writing abc, but it seems to work in the Concertina.net Tune-O-Tron.

Put it into 4/4 and the second line is more or less the same as the last line of The Jeely Piece Song. And I'm pretty sure that wasn't original either.

Mitch has found it! It's also the tune for Don Henderson's "It's on".
But it came from the cowboy movie and was called "The Strawberry Roan". It was a poem written by the rodeo rider Curley Fletcher and set to a tune by Nat Vincent.

Here 'tis.

It's also in the Fiddler's Companion:
STRAWBERRY ROAN. American, Waltz. G Major. USA, Arizona. In the repertory of Arizona fiddler Kenner C. Karchner, who said it was a favorite at rodeos as far back as 1920 (Shumway).

And also in Laws - C1915.

I seem to remember that Harry played in a bluegrass group in the 50's - maybe that's where he found it.

Thanks all, especially Little Robyn who may well have nailed it. Unless anyone else can take it back further than 1920...

I think I can hear Burl Ives singing this.

The song was being sung before Vincent's adaptation, which added a chorus (not liked by Curley Fletcher).

Montana Slim (Wilf Carter) and others used the tune before Vincent.

See thread 35911, Strawberry Roan.
