At the Toot, lovers of early music bring recorders, viols, lutes, sackbutts, harps, etc for lessons, sessions, and concerts. The Toot has really improved my playing. This year's Summer Toot is June 8-14 on a beautiful, accessible campus in Austin, Texas. Check it out at Toot.org I consider the Toot the best vacation ever. Play music, eat, play music, eat. |

Still, I enjoy the freedom from the usual stresses of a big trip - where will we eat, where's a restroom, what-another-unexpected-expense?, the-underground-is-not-functioning-today, etc. The Toot is so relaxing. toot.org |
