Back in 97 I posted a request for chords for The Black Freighter/Pirate Jenny. I had some good responses and have been sporadically giving those chords a go over the intervening 14 years. (Cm/Cm9// A7/Dm etc) I could not make them fit the version of the song that I know, After playing a couple of U-tube clips, (Nina Simone etc.) (U-tube did not exist back then) I realised that the original from the Threepenny Opera is not the same as the Steeleye Span version from "Storm Force Ten" Has anyone out there in the Mudcat Multiverse had a successful shot at this? My far better half has been at me for years to learn this so she can sing it, she really likes the tone of the whole story, especially the "Kill them now" and "Hoopla" bits.
