17 Jun 14 - 11:57 PM (#3634145) Subject: Tech: Facebook Videos Problem From: Ebbie Hey, I know that many Mudcatters don't facebook (is that a word?) but many of us do. In my case I find it a great way to stay in touch with my daughter and son in law and get better acquainted with my grandchildren. My problem: Recently some of the photos and videos that others post are not visible to me. Many others are, so it is not a blanket problem. Captions and text are there and complete. This has never happened before. I use Windows 7 Home Premium. I did a System Restore and it solved nothing. My anti-virus and malware programs are up and used routinely. Any ideas? Problems only seen to occur when browsing in Internet Explorer. I don't have them when using Chrome. Possibly FB have done some mods to the way they handle videos and there's a glitch in the way they work with some browsers? |

So sure, try IE if you want to, but I can't see why; Chrome is far more likely to solve your issue than IE. |

No video gaps- and then there was one, so I closed it I don't remember what kind of problem it presented but I tried a few months ago to download Chrome and had to give it up. Maybe I'll try it again. The funny thing is that I've been on Facebook for several years- and not until a month or so ago has there been a problem with videos. |
