SB-G's revision of the song is that given above from 'English Minstrelsie'. You can find the original manuscript record in the 'Full English' collection - a search for 'Torrington Ringers' will bring up a set of words and music (Ref SBG/1/3/177) - her's a blue clicky Torrington Ringers This text is quite legible by SB-G's standrads - but if you can't make it out give me a shout and I'll send you a transcript. |
