14 Oct 14 - 09:02 AM (#3668953) Subject: BS: Thank you Max and Sandy Paton From: jacqui.c Ten years ago today, thanks to the miracle of Mudcat, I was married to the love of my life, in Sharon Connecticut, by Sandy Paton. It was rather unconventional - we drove around that morning looking for the perfect place to have the ceremony and found it, near the Housatonic river, with the beautiful fall colour in the background. There were just the four of us, Kendall and me and Sandy and Caroline. No need for anything more. Our honeymoon was spent at the Getaway in Camp Ramblewood, staying in the old house and with a wedding reception arranged by SINSULL and Tinker. That was fun but, because they didn't know me then, was a bit more circumspect in nature than might otherwise have been the case - no ladies in mourning, wearing black feather boas, in the front row, for a start! As is always the case, life has not always been an easy ride and both of us have failed in the marriage stakes before, but here we are, ten years on and, as Kendall would say, on the giddy side of morose. |
