Muddy Waters) Want you to rock me, baby. Rock me all night long. (2x) Well I want you to rock me baby, like my back ain't got no bones. Sun goin' down. The moon begin to rise. (2x) Well I want you to rock me baby, till you make me satisfied. See me comin', run get your rockin' chair. (2x) Well you know I ain't no stranger. You know I used to live right here. Want you to roll me like I roll a wagon wheel. (2x) You know I want you to roll me over. You know how good that makes me feel. Rock me easy. Rock your baby slow. (2x) Well, you know I want you to rock me so easy, till I don't wanna rock no more. Put your arms around me like a circle around the sun. (2x) I want you to call, call me daddy. Let me lay down in your arms. [Reissued on Muddy Waters' "The Chess Box," MCA/Chess 3-CD set #80002, 1989, and other CDs.] |

I know many of you Mudcatters don't go for his style and stay close to MJH and Leadbelly, but you ought to give Muddy and the rest of those cats a chance. It's an entirely different world of sight and sound. Check out Muddy's website. He would be the regal lookin' Black man.Muddy Waters. Com. If you ever get a chance to see the film of him doing "Mojo Workin" check it out. Almost a religious experience. He is the original Mud Cat;~) |
