On it is a recording of a young Norwegian woman who used to live here while she attended Montana State University. She plays accordion, and the tape has two tunes that she played at our session. One is a Norwegian tune for which I have been trying to find more information. It is roughly translated in English to "The Girl From the Mountain Dreams". It is very beautiful. The first part of it begins slowly, then the tempo picks up faster. If you hear it on the future Mudcat Radio, please give us more information about it if you can. Alice Flynn |

They're sort of an on again off again affair as the members are involved in other projects, groups and solo careers. They've released several CDs which are available in Norway at least If you look under harps on the site I linked to, you'll find Tone Hulbækmo mentioned. She and her husband, along with Sverre Jensen who built her harp, are/were members of Kalendaya Maya. They released a CD a few years ago with Spanish medieval music which got a lot of attention in Europe, they toured in Spain among other things. Alice - I'll try to catch the song on the Mudcat Radio. I tried translating the title into Norwegian in various ways without recognizing it. bassen
