The chords are no problem and I can get most of the tune ok but I cannot get the melody of the "over the hills and far away" line for some reason and I cannot find it anywhere on the net (plenty of other settings, but not the one he wants). Please can anyone help? |

B A G A E G E E Over the hills and far away. All in one octave except for the AGA (...er the hills...)in the last line which dips into a lower octave. Key of D. Notes are roughly where they fall with the syllables. This is the way I remember Tams version. |

(I actually place my capo at the 4th fret and use A D and E7) Perhaps listening to a different version from John Tams might help with your problem in getting the melody.
