From: Big Al Whittle i like the boot. you can a bottle of red wine for under a tenner. they also do this lurid orange cider - i always think it looks like they made it at Winfrith. i remember sitting there earwigging to a gang of burglars at the next table...... this guy says, I just got out the nick, and my probation officer sent me to register at the cop shop. so before i walk out, they say to me -hang on a minute! and it seems i burgled this blokes house 20 years before - it was a bloke i didn't like . so when i' d finished nicking stuff - idid a pony and trap on his bed. i'd forgotten all this! but they matched the DNA in the shit to me. so there i was - remanded in rhubard and custody.... you don't get stuff like that, trolling through these arts centres. |

I bet Kendall has got some great stories - but he always seems a bit stand offish. Its a solitary business - going round with your guitar - usually places you don't really know the people. you put on a show, and your mind is thrumming away for hours after -wishing you'd done this or that different. it would be nice now to, what was it Stonewall Jackson said...to sit under the trees together. |
