I live in Lincoln and play clawhammer banjo, or at least am learning since last year. I would especially like to meet up with a fiddler or guitar player but anyone who likes to jam would be great. |

There are at least a couple of guys , with banjos etc, who play Old Time stuff - or FB Pete Gostelow - think he makes them too. What sort of music is played just depends on who turns up! There's a session at the Malt Shovel in Ashby, Scunthorpe, on the 3rd Sunday of the month - mostly English/Celtic, but it's very much 'anything goes', and very friendly. Might be a good place to make contacts and check out what's going on. |

They don't list any OT sessions in Lincolnshire; the nearest are probably in Nottingham and Doncaster. Not forgetting Gainsborough next February. |
