Seeking concertinist Ciaran in Oz

Can anyone give me a contact for an English chap, called Ciaran ( Ciaron ?), who plays Anglo concertina, and is on tour in Australia at present. Ciaran is a slender chap, glasses, short greying hair. I met him performing at Easter at the National Folk Festival ina ceili band, but didn't get his surname. I want to talk concertina with him (what else is there to talk about, really?). THanks

I've asked friends who like Irish music if they recognised the band but they couldn't help

?Definitely English, not Irish /Scottish?

It might be handy to list names you've googled and discounted...
but here are a couple I came up with

Ciaran O'grady at the July festival
or on
concertina.net (photo there too)

Ciaran Hanna youtube

Sorry, I don't even know if they are playing the Anglo.

Norm is not part of the National team - Pam is the Artistic programmer, Norm runs Turning Wave.

Simon, it was definitely Ciaran O'Grady. He currently is based in Melbourne, but I don't have contact details.

Doubt if Pam would know as he wasn't a booked guest, but Norm might have a contact through ITM circles. Or Chris Ghent may have his number...

Great player with imho more than a touch of classical influence in his ITM playing.

This guy certainly sounds very English though on paper he looked Irish to me.

If it still isn't him maybe you could ask him if he has a namesake?

He has posted a few time at Concertina.net where he mentions being in Kildare.

Thanks Sandra and freddy. yes, Ciaran O'Grady it is indeed. Funny when I Googled for him, and saw his pics he looked quite different. Never knew he lives in Melbourne.
