Well that was exciting! Spent all day on the M5, M6 and M74. Mebbe saw a couple of St George's flags flying, but looked like they'd been there a long time.
Indulged in a few John Kirkpatrick Youtubes after getting home.

Tattie Bogle did we pass each other on the M6 I wonder?
I saw one St George's flag and that was near to Keele otherwise nothing; decided that it should be English music all the way to Nelson and back to Kegworth so Peter Bellamy and Ralph McTell were my choices.

You must regret no being Scots , Welsh , Irish or Cornish then ?

Dont give up , keep on trying, still you see loads of red crosses at Soccer matches!

The mass media fill us with non english culture so its not surprising the National Identity in general is being eroded.

Thank goodness for English Folk songs

Shame the Folk awards don't reflect true English Folk culture .

i hear the name Thompson wosomething again

Hard luck Jez, we know you are the true bannerman.

Who's the patron saint of Geordieland ? Ah ............

Can't we adopt an English saint instead of a Turkish one. We Brits murdered a few Catholics in our time - so there's no shortage.
Also - if it wasn't for George we might still have dragons.

If I travel east along the A14, I come to Bury St Edmunds, not to praise him!
