I recall her fondly with her occasional attendances at The Volunteer during Sidmouth FolkWeek and Jim's Devon concerts with her stories, monologues and high-pitched songs such as Bampton Fair. There are few recordings of her songs, one being the Pennymoor Singaround CD recorded in 2013. It is to be hoped that a better informed appreciation of her life can engrace the pages of English Dance & Song and/or Folk Music Journal in due course. |
