The singer is Steven Richard Lindholm, but what's the tune?

I know "Turkeys in The Straw" tune but I'm not getting past "Old Zip Coon". Your last link isn't working for me. |

That's probably why it feels so familiar! Fairport Convention's Dave Swarbrick uses the main melody as one part of the medley ""Royal Seleccion No 13" on their album The Bonny Bunch of Roses, where it is titled 'Toytown March'. It is often confused with another equally familiar melody called "March of the Toys" from Victor Herbert's "Babes in Toyland", which, adding to the confusion, was made into a Laurel and Hardy film and then reissued as "The March of the Wooden Soldiers". |
