Anna Gevalt Roberts and Elizabeth LaPrelle , two young ladies who sing (Superbly) Appalachian songs with Guitar , Banjo and Fiddle did an excellent evening at The Green Note in Camden last Tuesday to a capacity house . Worth looking out for for future tours to our side of the pond , or even better , booking them in USA , but not so often as to stop them coming back to U K !

They are being booked regularly here... we in the DC area get to see them a couple times a year.... so far.

I was so disappointed they didn't come to Manchester... sounds like a great night.

They were wonderful in Newcastle last week--thanks to Cath and Phil Tyler for organizing their visit and the first spot, plus their impromptu shape note group. Great evening.

Spleen Cringe. Pity they didn't appear in Manchester. However, they did a superb gig at the Caledonia in Liverpool a week last Tuesday. Apologies, for I really should have had enough oil in my lamp to announce that one in Mudcat.

BTW the Caledonia is an excellent music pub, with a highly eclectic programme of performers 7 nights of the week. Well worth checking out if you're ever in Liverpool.
