Funnily enough I was reading this very article yesterday. Of the artists I didn't know, I was particularly drawn to Mary McCaslin - I listened to the title track of Way Out West on YouTube and was blown away. Beautiful stuff. I intend to buy the album.

I often find that RS turns on a very narrow pivot..However. this is a very interesting list . I have always loved Mary MCCaslin and was glad to see her there.
I had heard some of the others but never felt compelled to buy the records. Thanks for posting, nice to go back and have a look see.
