In a video on Ireland (BBC World - The Money Programme) I heard excerpts from a song probably entitled The Connemara Bus. Can anybody provide the lyrics and chords of this song? Thanks in advance.

I a report on Ireland that I recorded on BBC World 2 or 3 years ago there is a song that must be entitled The Connemara Bus. Can anyone help with the lyrics? Is this song available on CD? hanks in advance.

I have a recording of the Connemara Bus which I can't locate. I believe the artist was Willie Brady, but I doubt that Willie's music is available on CDs as he died 20 or 30 years before CDs were produced. It's a cute little song which I put in a class with granny's old arm chair.

I'll copy the lyrics for you when I locate the recording.

Here are the lyrics I picked off an old LP. The words I'm not sure of have a bracketed question mark immediately following. Can you decipher them, Tully?

I never found my Willie Brady tape, but found The Connemara Bus on a recording of an old WSOU radio show. I'm not familiar with the singer but his name sounded like Gin Joe. Perhaps someone can recognize the name and let Pierre know if the recordings are available. Barry, these are the words I decipher for THE CONNEMARA BUS.

Thanks Tully! I've just increased my songbook by one!

Pierre... FYI, the version I have is on an LP by Sean Dunphy. As I have seen his recent stuff on CD, perhaps this tune is among them.
