and why should I not,Padgett, I am advertising myself and the festival. again we have an anonymous cowardly guest trolling.
putting ones name in capitals does not indicate anything other than drawing attention to my presence at the festival, is that understood by both of you?
Ray Padgett, if you have anything to say to me you can always say it to my face, if you prefer it I wont bother to mention the festival in future.

This festival is friendly and has good venues, most of the venues are in easy walking distance of one another.
Saltburn is a a small seaside town with railway connections, the local businesses appear to welcome the festival.

There were some Hic-cups this year , Notably Vin's inability to attend / perform due to his well documented illness, and the illness which befell one of Alan's band's relatives which necessitated an immediate return home. There was lots of juggling behind the scenes and from my point of view on Sunday,Harvey Andrews, Marie Little, New Rope String Band and Chis While and Julie Matthews did elongated sets with a smile on their faces to cover Vin's absence and did brilliant sets. Also Jez Lowe did great work and sets on the Saturday to cover Alan's Band.
Some asked "Why not let Jez cover Vin's sets on the Sunday".
I must tell you Jez was still waiting to do a spot at the Saturday festival night club and then perform at Ashby-de-la-Zouch the following afternoon.!!!!!! A big thank you to Jez.
Most audiences (fair enough) don't seem to understand how hard these performers work dragging themselves and their equipment up and down the country to perform for us .I thank them all again.

Yes a great festival and a great deal of hard work put in by all, Friday weather was wet but rest was pretty good as was the work put in by mcees and all contributors, stewards and performers

Many thanks to entrants in the Fred Jordan Unaccompanied singers competition ~ won this year by Tom MacDonald of Ossett ~ who received £150 and a bronze Fred Jordan to keep and his name on the annual trophy!

High standard of entrants and special mention to Alan Hine and Pete Butterfield for their continued support, very enjoyable time!

Vince Parker I believe won the Graeme Miles singer songwriters competition

I enjoyed my concerts in the Marine Hotel.
I was impressed by Ian Tyzack.
The weather was beautiful on Sat and Sunday, and we had an impromptu Tune and Song session in the Garden Marquee at the back of the Conservative Club.

Yes - a really good festival.

From the gathering hosted by the Cutty Wren Folk Club on Thursday night at the Marine - through all the singarounds and concerts to the final 'Big Sing' at the Spa - it was a truly enjoyable weekend.

Thank you to John Taylor and all the team. There's a huge amount of work gone on behind the scenes to make things run so well - particularly when a double dose of the unexpected materialised.

Looking forward to Saltburn 2016!
