Gay and Terry Woods mystery album

Hi troops, I'm sitting here in rain soaked England compiling a Gay and Terry Woods discography and I need your help. Does anyone recall an album on which Mr. & Mrs. Woods featured in the mid 70s as support to another Irish folkie? They were high profile enough to have their names on the cover and indeed to be photographed against an old castle or some such.
I once spied this elusive item on ebay and made a mental note to bid for it, but life got in the way and by the time I returned of course it had gone, along with the details.
I assume the album was recorded during their years in the Lodge near Red Lake,County Meath, that's après the Woods Band.
Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Could you list the albums of theirs you have from that period?

There's a fair stab at a discography for them here

This is not Irish, but Gay and Terry sang chorus vocals on Lea Nicholson's 1971 Trailer album Horsemusic.

To Guest Simon Jones:

I am also a big Gay & Terry Woods fan and have the LPs & one CD that guest Peter Laban posted on his thread.
Is the album that guest Reinhard posted information about (Lea Nicholson's LP ) the one you are looking for?

I would love to find more records that they may have released too.

There is a song that I really, really like called "The Reward" on the LP I have of theirs, "Tender Hooks" Unfortunately that particular song is not of good quality on my album.

I am in USA but bought their albums on different visits to England during the 1980's.
Do you know if "The Reward" was ever released on any of their CD/s?

I looked at the CDs on the list but could not find that song released on the ones listed on Peter Laban's post. Found several CDs but could not find the song "The Reward" I would love to find it as my LP copy with that song is not in good shape. (or at least that song)

Many thanks! I hope my post makes sense. I am kind of sleepy right now and probably need another cup of coffee. :-)

Lin, the album "Tender Hooks" had been reissued on CD by Cooking Vinyl in 2000.

To Guest # Thank you for the information about the Youtube link for the song. Loved hearing the "Reward" song again!

To Guest Reinhard: Thank you for the information about the CD reissue of "Tender Hooks"
I will have to look into how I can order it - I am in USA.

Thanks!
Lin

Lin, I will always go out of my way to help you when you have requests.. It's not even a percent of a percent what I owe for the number of times JiK was helpful to me with anything to do with computer stuff. And I'm sure I made him cringe with some of the really stupid questions I asked. In short, you're welcome.

Hello, thanks to everyone who has so quickly and so far tried to help. No it isn't the Lea Nicholson album which they cut at roughly the same time as they were over here In England 1971 conjuring folk rock magic. I get the feeling this one's an Irish only release, I'd have said about 1974-77. I've never seen the record in any G&T discography which was why I was keen to include it.
For all completists there are some dodgy sound wise, but potentially brilliant music wise, clips from BBC sessions on Youtube including stuff with Dr Strangely Strange and half of King Crimson. I also reckon there are unreleased tracks and alternate versions lurking on a dusty shelf somewhere.
Ah well, I'll just have to ask the people themselves if they recall. Meantime I'll try the most knowledgeable person I know on Irish rock.
Of course anything I find out I'll report here.
Thanks again. Simon J.
