Hi everybody,
I'm going to the lovely city of York from 2nd to 6th December and was wondering if there are any pubs there where live trad music is played.
Many thanks in advance
Rena

Roland Walls is your man. He runs much of the traditional scene in York including The Black Swan Folk Club. I'm sure they have an online presence.

I've facebooked a couple of the York tradition session crowd and will let you know what they say.   What sort of music are you thinking of? Are you thinking of watching or playing?

Cheers,

Joy

Thanks everybody, that's very helpful. Joy, I'm thinking of watching as I'm a Gaelic singer and I guess that won't be as popular down there as it might be here in Scotland.

Don't be shy Rena.

I'm sure everyone would appreciate a song in Gaelic as most seem to have exceptional tunes.
