YESSSS! Got back from Auckland to find a pressie all the way from the UK with my name on it. Feels like some interesting shapes are included. I have resisted the temptation and will stay good until Friday.

Thank you Santa XXXXX

Oh, wonderful! My Secret Santa pressie arrived today, in the very Nick of time (see what I did there?). Many thanks, Firecat. I'm afraid I went ahead and opened things, and each separate gift was a total delight. York is one of my very favourite cities, the earrings are gorgeous and I absolutely love the cat. Excellent choices, and I am about to browse through the recipes now.
Merry Christmas!

as it is 11 hours into Christmas day, I opened my pressies!

As I guessed (Maine? crochet??) my pressie is from Jacqui & ticks a lot of boxes.

A Mudcatter CD with 2 tracks from Kendell & Jackie - recitation, singing & music.

A most excellent book of Maine humor (certainly not Australian or British humour) & autographed, too.

A tiny little box (maybe for very small pills) with a fiddler on the front.

A bookmark/tape measure from Mother of Purl, a yarn shop.

A most exquisite black wool/silk triangular scarf/mini shawl.

Thankyou, Jacqui

a christmas card for all

Ah well, not a very mysterious Santa. I did enjoy putting your gifts together, Sandra, and am impressed that it was delivered so quickly. The reindeer is one of a limited edition of seven. Not sure I will make any more as they were extremely fiddly!

I have a number of single items in my craft hoard, items I'll never make again, nor am I likely to recreate 2 very fiddly items that I lost
subsequently lost

Thank you Anne for my wonderful wee parcel of all things Welsh. I have never read Dylan Thomas so his Christmas book will be a real treat for me as was the Horrible History book and the fabulous CD and download. Thank you again for the gifts and I hope you had a great day yourself. XX

You're most welcome, Vectis ...I hope you enjoy all of the items including, of course, the music! I've had a really wonderful couple of days with my family, and we're now off to the isles of Scilly for a bit of a break. I'd really like a break from all the rain, but I don't suppose that will happen!

Vectis was it you? I can't think of anyone else in NZ. Thank you so much for a lovely exciting parcel of goodies all with an NZ theme. Loved all of it and reading the brochures too. The calendar will remind me of Christmas and Secret Santas all year round. Many many thanks Sarah x

Oh! I wasn't even playing, just stirring the pot, but I seem to have received a gift from Down Under. I'll open it later this morning when my family arrives and we do our belated holiday. My children travelled long distances this year but we're all here together for once. Thank you, as-yet-undisclosed-Santa!

The parcel arrived today, all the way from Ohio!

It contained a gorgeous owl figurine (I now see what you mean about catapulting the owl :-D) with a clip on the base, and a book called Stiff: The Curious Lives Of Human Cadavers, which intrigues my thanatologist side.

Thank you! Now to tell me who you are...

Hoo-Ray,it arrived unharmed, and by Old Christmas! I'm glad you don't have the book; she's a very readable author. I ordered it at a shop, which said it would be shipped to my house (not my choice, I prefer picking stuff up at the store). I waited as patient as Job, then finally used the tracking slip they gave me. The slip said the order didn't exist, so I bought another copy of the book elsewhere. When they gave me that envelope at the post office instead of a box, I gulped and sent everything anyway. Thank you so much for letting me know it arrived. And thank you for including non-folk interests on your wish list. Have a good year, Hollowfox

Whee! My package arrived today from Pocatello, Idaho. It had everything I could possibly want - except the name of the sender. It came at the perfect time, just before I went to work, so the snacks and hand cream are in my desk for the afternoon break. The honey, mustard, and cooking blend are patiently waiting for me at home, as well as the cloisonné pins and the brochures from the Yellowstone area. I've been to the area several times, so I'm looking foreward to reliving the good times tonight after work. Thank you, the gift is perfect. (whoever you are. Please answer here or PM me, as I'm dying of curiosity.)

Never heard back from my Santee. This temporary UnSantee is driving me a bit mad. I mean, I appreciate the lift, but I usually walk, as it's a short walk from here.

Please let me know, as it should have been there on or at least near Christmas. I had one lost some years ago while bound for Australia, and I'd never want to go through that again...
