Hello everyone,

Just to let everyone know that The Three Ravens Folk Club will be hosting a wassailing event on the 22nd of November. Join us for songs and tunes- bring your own or just come and listen. The venue is the beautiful Bower House which serves drinks at exceptionally low prices, and of course there will be mince pies.

22nd December, 20:00-23:00 at the Bower House in Maidstone, Kent.

The event link is below:

Hope to see you there!

Hmm, perhaps you mean 22 Dec, since not many of us have a time machine

Why not Richard?! Maybe you should ask for one for Christmas.

Anyway the date shows up fine for me, does it say differently for you?

Thanks,
Sinèad.

I think Richard refers to the two different dates in the first post.
November and December.

Went to a session last night on the outskirts of Maidstone where ordinary stuff was interspersed with Xmas songs and carols - and very good it was too. Perhaps not quite rivalling the Sheffield lot - but a good tradition to establish.
The GI in Rochester has something similar this weekend.
The Three Ravens in Maidstone is run by and attended by people under 40 - a sign of things looking up!
