Well let's assume we have some luck and this is the end of the thread. Now we can see how lucky we really are Gint!

Here are some I've heard, Gint. NOTE these jokes do NOT reflect any personal opinions!

Q: What's the best way to tune a bodhran?

A: With a knife.

Q: What do a bagpipe player and a javelin thrower have in common?

A: Neither of them have to be particularly good to get the crowd's attention.

At Chritmas time a kindergarten teacher asked her class to draw a picture to go along with their favorite Christmas carol. One boy drew a manger scene but there was a rather chubby man standing along with the shepherds and three wise men. The teacher asked him who it was and he repled, "Round John Virgin"!

There was a thread just a couple of weeks ago on the subject of jokes set to music. I can't manage blue clicky wotsits or I'd send you directly there.

Here's a seasonal one for you;

Christmas Cake Recipe

1 cup water 1 cup sugar 4 large eggs 2 cups dried fruit 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup brown sugar lemon juice nuts 1 gallon whiskey

Sample the whiskey to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whiskey again to be sure it is of the highest quality. Pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer; beat 1 cup butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and beat again. Make sure the whiskey is still OK. Cry another tup. Turn off mixer. Break 2 legs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the whiskey to check for toxisicity. Next, sift 2 cups of salt. Or something. Who cares? Check the whiskey. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl out of the window. Check the whiskey again. Go to bed. Who the hell likes fruitcake anyway?

Well now you've done it. Cletus left here in a frenzy (a nice new 2-door sports job) saying something about heading for London. I'm personally glad he's out of here for awhile, but he may turn up at your place Squeaks. In truth, neither he nor Paw nor the Reg boys for that matter have any sense of direction and Cletus may wind up in London, Ohio! That's probably what he thinks anyway. But keep a lookout for him. He found Jeri's once and was arrested for voyeurism there. He has zip for bucks, so I wouldn't worry, just keep your eye out.

Any clues as to what he looks like, apart from the one eyebrow right across his forehead, the ability to scratch his knees without bending and a trail of drool??
