Sit tight, Dan. They reckon it is just a 'blip'. I'll never have any money for shares anyway but I will keep my fingers crossed for you :-)

I thought it was about the wooden parts on rifles (the plastic stuff they use these days is pure *&^%$!!).

Thought it was about things like chicken broth, vegetable broth, etc.

"the wooden parts on rifles" Normally referred to as "the furniture" which includes the Stock.

"the plastic stuff they use these days is pure *&^%$!!"

Might not look as good and it might well be pure *&^%$!! but it makes the rifle a damn sight lighter to lug about, requires less attention and it stands up to far rougher handling than a polished finely carved lump of wood. It also has the advantage of being easier to replace like for like.

But it doesn't have the same authority for a vertical or horizontal butt stroke. Besides, I don't have any "fine firearms."

LOL, if you have to use the Stock of your rifle to hit your target then you're obviously a lousy shot or something has gone dramatically wrong with your weapons training.

"Yes, but is a AR buttstroke using a stock made by Mattel really effective? Pretty sure the AK stock will ring your bell though."

Not knowing a thing about firearms, I find the phrase "vertical or horizontal butt stroke" oddly familiar - it's what I frequently ask my wife.

On a serious note, I recently saw *something on the web* about the Bank of Scotland advising investors to sell all stocks now. What was that about?

I remember that the plastic furniture on the SA80 would weld itself to your face if you used issue insect repellent.
They changed the repellent.
