New (Free!) EP of Unaccompanied Songs

Hey Everybody!

I recently recorded an EP of unaccompanied songs, and have put it up as a free download on my website. I'd love for people to listen to it, download it, share it with anyone who might like it, and most of all, learn and sing the songs if you like them. The lyrics are included as a pdf in the download, and you can click "[info]" on any of the songs to bring up the lyrics on the website.

It was recorded over the course of an hour in the dining room of a house in Sugar Hill, NH. Four of the five songs are original; the fifth (actually the first track, Dónal Kenny) is one I learned from Thomas McCarthy, who is a singer definitely worth checking out if you haven't heard him before.

You can find it here, and there's no sign-up or email-entering to do:

It's also up on Soundcloud:

And Bandcamp:

Thanks, and hope you enjoy them!

-Tyler

Fine singing, Tyler! You appear to be versed in the sean-nos tradition (albeit employing a bit more vibrato), and your original songs slot right in with it. Well done.

Thanks for the kind words guys, glad you enjoyed the music! And Michael, I do love sean nos, although I wish my Irish was better to sing it properly...
