Quite a while back I knew a woman named Beth who played accordion. Among other tunes, she played one I think was titled, :The Steppes of Manchuria. Does anyone known this melody? Or what happened to Beth?

There's an "On the Steppes... &c" on the album "The Works of Jon Cooper" (Rooster 102, 1979.)

If you thinks it's the same tune you might try Jon here.

It's in almost every collection of Russian songs.

Larry Hanks knows this as the "Hills of Manchuria"

...and googling for that title will give you LOTS of videos and links to lyrics and staff notation for it.
