I wonder if there are any US catters that were involved in that , or who remember some of the music arising from it. Larry Norman was most well known, but I remember , liberation suite, sheep, 2nd chapter of acts among others. |

Can't say I was drawn into it, but there was a lot of music that sprang from it. There was a songbook called Songs, compiled by Yohann Anderson of Songs and Creations, Inc., of San Anselmo, California. I think it was first published in 1972, and I have a 1992 edition. According to this link (click) they're still in business. They made use of popular songs and some by religious songwriters, and did some really good stuff. -Joe- |

A couple of keith greens songs still persist in worship songs in church. I had heard he died in an air crash, but not that it was overloaded. Interesting to read of larry Normans funeral. There was some kind of shadow over his reputation later in life, but it was nice to read of the affection he was held in by everyday people he interacted with. His music was fairly varied, and some might be thought folky, wish we'd all been ready, comes to mind. |
