I now have a catheter. I wish i'd had it yrs ago, possibly before moving to said care home. Fantastic invention. I'm so happy w/ it. Esp. when out w/ no idea of where facilities are. Sat watching fav Morris side (Pig Dyke Molly) who i'd been wanting to see again for literally AGES w/o any problems at all. I find I still get the odd cramp, but am told I don't look so vague now. Except when i'm thinking of lore/bands etc.

Funny how those who said me having one was wrong/not needed were those who complained the loudest re doing my care. Strange that.

Glad you are happy with it.
And that you can get out with more confidence.

I know (from my mother-in law, who was in a wheelchair) how large a thing that is taken for granted by most people can loom when immobile.

maybe your "carers" were masochists?

looking forward to more reports on your activities out & about in the folk world.

Hello there Claire M !! (waving happily) Nice to see you posting here again.
(I'm Eliza)

I adore Pig Dyke Molly.

Really pleased to hear you've sorted out your catheter needs and that you can get out more easily, it must make a huge difference.

Well done for having the strength of character to list a sensitive subject on here.
Hope you continue for many years to enjoy the folk scene.
Best wishes
