Hello Everybody,
    New to Mudcat.
I'm looking for a story I read some time ago.
For the life of me I can't remember where, or who it was by.
I think it was in a book similar to American Folklore by B. A. Botkin.
The story was about a dance in a house at night somewhere in either West Virginia or Kentucky (maybe somewhere else?) in the 1800s and described the fiddlers drinking whiskey and the general pandemonium.
Does this ring a bell for any of y'all?
Thanks!
Tom
