15 Aug 16 - 07:04 AM (#3805209) Subject: dancing between the street lights From: GUEST,Bird A few years ago I began a series of paintings based upon a song I heard someone sing in a folk club and later tracked down on the internet. A lost hard drive and life interrupted the process and I would like to pick it up again. Trouble is I can't remember who wrote and sang the song originally, nor even its title. What I do remember is that the chorus was about dancing or swinging around in the space between the street lights. I had completed one painting of the first verse and it shows a man suspended by golden hair before a window. I'd got as far as thinking about the next verse and it is the same man beneath water looking up through it at a face. My visual memory is all I really have to go on as searches for words have failed. Do these images ring any bells with anyone? I would be very grateful to find this song. Thank you |
