29 Aug 16 - 05:26 AM (#3807338) Subject: Folklore: Horn Dancers on Countryfile Calendar From: Jack Blandiver Watching Countryfile last night I was delighted to see one of the upcoming calendar pics was a atmospheric shot of the Abbots Bromley Horn Dancers, punningly 'Spring in Their Step', which is misleading seeing as how it's an autumn thang, but there you go... The pics (all excellent) are on the BBC Countryfile website with a chance to vote for your favourite (I especially like the vaping stag, but when it comes to quintessential British folkery nothing beats the horn dancers).
