The Vale Radio FAB Folk and Blues Club which meets at the Function Room, Haxby on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evening at 8pm is moving to The Haxby Sports and Social Club on Sunday 9th October. The Cottage Inn is being refurbished.

All welcome. It's a singaround and you might get recorded for local radio!

That URL points to a Wix site. Wix are so incompetent that I only get a blank page whichever browser I use on this machine (nothing at all on Firefox; on Safari I get a message saying I'm using an outdated version of Internet Explorer).

You can sometimes get round problems like that by filtering the site through Google Translate, but it looks like Google can't get anything from that site either.

The page source references a "noframes" version at http://trancers.wix.com/haxbyclub - that doesn't work either.

Please get a host that isn't a bunch of total bozos.

So, are you thinking of coming Jack, or just trolling about?

I'm only in York on my way to other places, but I might have considered it if I could find out more. But if you don't want to tell anybody but people using IE on Windows 10 (or whatever Wix considers to be their market) that's your privilege.

You mean on Chrome? (Not a very popular choice).

I get it fine in the U.S, using Windows 7 and Chrome.

I got it fine too, even though I'm in South York nowadays. How long have you been going Uncle Tone? This is the first I've heard about you. :)

That's better. You have it mixed VERY loud though.

I am far from the only person to find Wix sites unusable. They've been conning people for years.
