Leadfingers, do you want a bed for the night?
We are 2/3 miles away - just a bit too far to walk but a lot closer than you.
ps we do have a dog and cat in case you have allergies.

Thanks for the offer Flora , but public Transport is easy for me despite the walk from the station

Once again can I remind posters this is a WORLD WIDE site - have u any idea how many Good Intents there are in the world, LF?

It is conceit of the highest 2 think everyone knows where u are talking about - you could specify because people can travel these days (even if YOU go by bus !!!

Have just googled GI, which highlighted six, but hey, that is just in England - I am sure there are a few in Canada, Ozzie, USA, And even Africa !!!

There was once a post on here saying "we are at the Red Lion this Friday"

and that was it!!    of course everyone in the World knew who and where . . .

Its in Rochester Kent GB.
Near the train station - although the station has moved. If you don't know where it is and want to go its worth printing off a map as its in the middle of a housing estate.
The GI has become the main folk venue for the Sweeps Festival in May - lots of folkies come from quite a distance for the 3 day festival so are ' in the know'. The GI put on regular folk things during the year.
