Anybody know what 'da lost chord' was that Jimmy Durante found?

I think that it (Sittin' at my pianna the other day)refers back to Sullivan's "The Lost Chord" (seated one day at the organ I was weary and ill at ease).

Other than that, my answer would have to be "no".

Durante plays a dischord in this sketch. Are they just random notes or are the notes definable as a chord?

I think it's a C7 - C E G B-flat. Not exactly a lost chord, I'm afraid.

He thought he had found it when he sat on the keyboard , but it was a bum note

A bum note? Was it a crotchet?
