"As Long as There is Music, There is Hope." I think it may have been BIG Mick sang it. I think someone he knew wrote it, and was shy about promoting it. Well, it popped into my mind again the other day. And I STILL want the chords and lyrics. Does anyone know them, or could gently prompt BIG Mick to share, do you think? Thanks! Saul |

The phrase come up often in Internet searches, but usually by itself. This reference tied it to the song Up Above My Head, but the "as long as there is music" line doesn't come up in the lyrics we have for "Up Above." I'll send Mick and email and ask him to take a look at this thread. -Joe- |

It has become the closing song in my own concerts, both solo and with Conklin Ceili Band. I am hopeful to get to Getaway this year where I will ask to sing it on Sunday to close out the Getaway weekend. The line you are referring to is, "For as long as there is hope there will be music, to celebrate this life that we share". |
