09 May 17 - 07:30 AM (#3854048) Subject: Dolly Collins Anthems Before the Fall From: GUEST,Verity Sharp Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone has any recollections, or better still, an off-air copy of a programme that was broadcast on Radio 1's My Kind of Folk on 7th August 1968. It was Shirley and Dolly Collins Anthems Before the Fall, which was the forerunner to the commercially released Anthems in Eden, and featured Dolly's Harmonious Band. I'm particularly keen to know what the line up of that band was and who the personnel were. Unfortunately there's no copy of the programme in the BBC archive. I will ask Shirley too, but would be grateful to hear from anyone who can shed any light. Many thanks! |
