He hasn't posted since 9/2016, when he posted about his 70th wedding anniversary. One of the mods was kind enough to try to contact him through the e-mail addy on file with Mudcat. It bounced back. |

From: Joe Offer I was in Roseburg a couple weeks ago and thought of looking Louie up, but I had family with me and it didn't work out to try to track him down. I hope to get up there again by myself fairly soon, and then I'll make another try. -Joe- Well, I decided I'd better call, and I had a delightful conversation with his wife. Louie died in April, 2017, at the age of 92. He played guitar and sang almost to the day he died. He and his wife were married for 70-1/2 years. She's going to take his ashes back to an area west of Missoula, Montana. That was a place he loved, and he has two children in Montana.
